The 6 sectors shaping Brazil’s industrial future

Production of green hydrogen
Sector 01 · Renewable Energy

Scaling Clean Energy

Brazil’s exceptional solar, wind and biomass resources provide a strong foundation for large-scale renewable energy development. The opportunity extends far beyond domestic power generation, with growing potential in green hydrogen, green ammonia, biofuels and other low-carbon energy solutions. Combined with its industrial capacity and access to international markets, these resources create significant opportunities across the clean energy value chain.

Securing Critical Resources

Some of the world’s largest reserves of iron ore, niobium, nickel and other strategic minerals are found alongside significant oil, gas and forestry resources. These assets support major export industries as well as extensive processing and supply chains. As demand grows for critical minerals and more secure sources of raw materials, Brazil is becoming increasingly relevant to companies seeking long-term access to strategic resources.

From the Founder

Brazil’s economic marketplace is undergoing rapid transformations. Alongside a major shift from an agricultural exporter to a diverse industrial base, it is also at the forefront of modern technologies and innovation.

Take for example the green hydrogen production in the Northeast, precision farming in the South or the country’s native payment provider (PIX). These are only a few examples of opportunities being realised right now and show a different path for Brazil’s economic development.

A common misconception is to view Brazil as an offshore production facility. Throughout LATAM, nominal income is growing and the continent is positioning itself as a strategic partner on the global stage, with Brazil as its main gateway.

In January 2026, Brazil started a nationwide tax modernisation reform, in May of that year it signed the EU-Mercosur agreement, and in August came the report of the country becoming the world’s largest agricultural exporter. These developments coupled with a consumer base of 200+ mln. make it a commercial giant with strategic potential
